      MICHAEL BRANDWEIN (michaelbrandwein.com) is a lawyer, author, speaker, and educator who has presented for law firms, organizations, and businesses in all 50 states and on 6 continents. He has been a national keynoter for both the ABA and ALA, has written four best-selling training and management books and has done three Emmy® award-winning television programs on communication. His Juris Doctor degree is from the University of Chicago. He was a partner and trial lawyer in Chicago. Michael is a dynamic and highly entertaining speaker, best known for his practical, "use-it-immediately" focus. He has special credibility with those working in the law world because he combines his experience as a lawyer and partner with his background in communication (B.A., summa cum laude, University of Illinois) and over thirty years of training in volunteer organizations and professional associations. Michael’s corporate clients include Hewlett-Packard, Nordstrom, Mercedes Benz, Motorola, Gillette, Exxon, and others. He serves on the management-training faculty of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Michael lives with his wife Donna, a certified sign language interpreter, and their two children, in the Chicago area.
